Elizabeth Carey joined Starr Commonwealth in 2010 with almost two decades of experience in the field of social and human services. In her role at Starr, Elizabeth provides leadership and direction for the organization. In her previous role of chief strategy officer, she helped shape the future of a number of administrative functions such as Starr's talent management initiatives, information technology advancements, risk management, accreditation, and research and evaluation. She served as executive director of the Michigan Federation for Children and Families, and most recently, she served as senior vice president and chief operating officer for the Alliance for Children and Families.
