Soraya Kim is the Chief Innovation Officer for the American Center for Mobility. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Kim was the President and CEO of Quantum Innovations, LLC, a Michigan-based consulting firm focused on providing business development support for global companies.
An attorney by training, Ms. Kim was a business development professional with the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin. In that capacity she has advised and supported numerous foreign-based companies in conjunction with governmental agencies and research institutes in developing and implementing commercialization and business development programs.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Ms. Kim is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She has been affiliated with the international law firm of McCarthy Tetrault, Samsung Corporation, and General Motors.
She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Michigan Asia Pacific American Affairs Commission (MAPAAC), a member of the Foreign Direct Investment Committee of Ann Arbor SPARK, and a founding member of the National Asian American Association of Professionals (NAAPAP).
